Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Pump Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background the O&G Industry working on H-Pumps, Verticals, PD Pumps and single Stage Centrifugal Pumps (ansi) This role involves analyzing and troubleshooting pump systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. The Pump Technician will be responsible for maintaining equipment, performing repairs, and collaborating with other technicians to enhance operational efficiency.
****Applicants Must Currently Live in the Hobbs NM, Carlsbad NM, Loving NM, Eunice NM or Jal NM areas to be considered for this opportunity. No per diem, No relocation assistance, No Housing will be provided. Our client will not considered applicants that want to relocate to the local areas of work.
Duties
- Analyze pump performance and identify issues related to Pump Maintenance.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on various types of pumps and associated equipment.
- Utilize logic controllers to monitor system operations and troubleshoot malfunctions.
- Operate high voltage equipment safely and effectively while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex technical challenges.
Skills
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to apply logical reasoning in troubleshooting scenarios.
- Experience with logic controllers is preferred.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Previous experience in O&G Pump Maintenance. (Required to be considered for this opportunity.)

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
