Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled instrumentation and electrical technician to join our team in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintenance and construction tasks related to instrumentation and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • install, maintain, and repair instrumentation and electrical systems in accordance with relevant codes and standards
  • troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instrumentation and electrical systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance of equipment
  • assist in the planning and execution of construction projects
  • ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • document maintenance and repair work for record keeping purposes

Qualifications:

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • completion of a relevant technical program or apprenticeship
  • experience working in the oil and gas industry preferred
  • knowledge of relevant codes and standards such as NEC and API
  • strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
