What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intern Process Engineer position at Renesas Electronics?
The candidate will serve as a Process Engineer Intern / coop in a 24X7 analog wafer fab producing 150mm & 100mm wafers in BiCMOS CMOS and bipolar silicon technologies. The candidate will work side by side with experienced Process Engineers utilizing statistical analysis such as Design of Experiments (DOE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to evaluate and improve cost yield and quality metrics. The candidate will be exposed to multiple processes equipment and metrology utilized in front end wafer manufacturing of silicon wafers.
Qualifications : Requirements :
- Candidate must be working towards a BS or MS in microelectronic materials chemical electrical engineering or similar engineering degree
- Willingness to work in a clean room environment and follow strict clean room requirements
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Detail orientated team player with good verbal & written communication skills
- Qualified to work in an ITAR environment
- Must be a US citizen
Additional Information :
Length of Assignment 12 weeks but flexible depending on candidates circumstances
