The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in McKinleyville has an immediate opening for a part-time Breakfast Attendant, Saturday and Sunday from 5 : 15am to 1 : 45pm, as well as available on call as needed. Upon your arrival, you will need to set up breakfast. During your shift you will need to restock breakfast items, bus tables, clean area, and prepare more food for buffet. Once breakfast service is over, you are required to clean, wash down area, take out trash, mop floors and vacuum area. This position requires a Food Handler Certification, so you must have or able to obtain one within 30 days of hire. This position may also required to drive the hotel shuttle to / from the airport as needed, so a valid clean Drivers License is required.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for cleanliness and restocking items on our breakfast buffet area for our in-house guests. Maintains appearance of breakfast area, furniture, fixtures and equipment. Greets guests and insures they are comfortable and feel welcome. Receive inventory of product, check against packing list and stores items as needed. Drive guests to / from local airport as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicant should possess basic math skills.
Applicant must be able to reach, bend, stoop, frequently lifting up to 20 pounds.
Applicant must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
Applicant must have or be able to receive the Food Handler’s Certification card within 30 days of employment.
Applicant should have an outgoing personality to interact with guests.
Applicant must have neat, clean appearance.
Applicant must be organized.
Applicant must work well with little or no supervision.
Applicant should be knowledgeable about area and local attractions.
Applicant must have a clean valid drivers license.
While performing the duties of the job, the applicant will be regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
