Renew Home Health, founded in 2006, is a local veteran owned company that greatly values the quality of care, which we provide for our patients.
The Director of Quality Management is responsible for the oversight, direction, and coordination of quality management/reporting, performance improvement initiatives, OASIS transmission management and RCD/Pre-Claim review/billing compliance activities for all agencies/branches of Renew Home Health.
Job Description/Requirements:
- Responsible for monitoring for requests from payers/patients/state and federal agencies for additional documentation and responding to those requests, as required.
- Assists with the development, revision and periodic evaluation of agency policies to promote quality patient care, effective business operations and agency compliance with state/federal regulations.
- Promotes compliance by ensuring that staff receive appropriate feedback and education regarding any identified issues, as warranted.
- Is responsible for ensuring agency licensing/CLIA requirements are met for all agencies/branches of Renew Home Health.
- Supervises and directs all Quality Management support staff.
Requirements of Qualified Candidates:
- Texas or Compact Nursing License required; LVN or RN
- 1 – 3 years of experience in Medicare home health required
- Home health clinical record auditing experience preferred
- Firm working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures of clinical documentation and ability to use in varied situations
- Strong analytical and computer/technical skills
- Ability to collaborate internally at all levels
- Must be proficient in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office
