ROLE DESCRIPTION

As Cabinet Technician your primary responsibility will be to assist in the removing, installing, and re-building damaged cabinet boxes to pre-loss condition. Fabrication of cabinet components including trim, toe kicks, doors, face frames, drawers, and hardware will also be involved in the process. This role is conducted both onsite and at our company location. Communication with the shop coordinator, lead technician and general manager is imperative. We ask that you help promote a desired company culture that encourages our company’s seven core principles.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES Include but not limited to:

Daily communication flow with lead technicians, shop coordinator and general manager

Proficient in cleaning cabinet finishes in a workshop and onsite environment.

Proper sanding of solid and veneered wood cabinet surfaces

Staining of cabinet surfaces with consistency.

Proactive approach; identifies and solves problems

Color matching skillset

Cabinet removal

Cabinet installation

Cabinet assembly

Pocket hole joinery

Maintain proper records of duties performed and transactions completed.

Provide the necessary records to the office for the completion of necessary invoices, records, and reports.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing of euro style & face frames cabinets.
• skillsets in Millwork & finish carpentry
• Knowledge & Safe practice of operation of saws, routers, planers & other cabinet machinery.
• Ability to read scope & plan
• Work with limited supervision
• Good time management
• Good arithmetic skills.
• Excellent teamwork and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing workmanship.
• Physical fitness, including ease of movement and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.
• 3-5 years experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $24.00 per hour
