Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Med Spa Manager to oversee and elevate our medical spa experience. This unique position blends hands-on aesthetic services with business management. The ideal candidate will spend roughly 70% of their time delivering aesthetic treatments and 30% leading the operations of the spa. As the spa grows, it's expected that the ratio will shift. This role requires someone who is not only an aesthetic expert but also a business builder, customer service champion, and networking genius.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical & Aesthetic Services (70% of Time):
- Deliver advanced aesthetic services, including laser treatments, chemical peels, microneedling, and other facial rejuvenation procedures.
- Conduct thorough consultations with patients to assess their needs and recommend personalized treatment plans.
- Ensure all procedures are performed with the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.
- Maintain comprehensive patient records, tracking treatments, outcomes, and follow-ups to ensure optimal results.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest aesthetic treatments, technologies, and trends to offer patients the best options.
- Provide ongoing education to patients about their treatments and post-care instructions to ensure satisfaction and results.
Operations & Leadership (30% of Time):
- Lead daily operations of the med spa, ensuring smooth workflow, efficiency, and excellent customer experience.
- Manage, train, and develop a high-performing team of aestheticians, technicians, and support staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring the spa is always stocked with the necessary supplies and equipment, while maintaining budget controls.
- Handle patient inquiries, complaints, and feedback, ensuring each interaction exceeds customer expectations.
- Drive the business growth by implementing strategies for increasing patient retention, client base, and revenue.
- Lead marketing and promotional efforts, leveraging social media, local networking, and community outreach to attract new clients.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with referral partners, local businesses, and influencers to grow the spa's network and clientele.
Qualifications:
- Licensure/Certifications:
- Associate or Bachelors degree preferred.
- Advanced Practice Esthetician license required.
- Certification in aesthetic treatments, such as lasers, preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience delivering advanced aesthetic treatments.
- At least 3 years of experience in a management or leadership role in a med spa or related field.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, and growing a customer base.
- Skills:
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build long-lasting client relationships.
- Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, marketing, and sales strategies.
- Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
- A strong networker with a passion for growing the spa’s brand and attracting new clients.
- Proficiency with scheduling, medical software, and other administrative tools.
