Summary

As a Direct Support Professional at Renew Residential Services, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities. This position involves providing personalized support and assistance in daily activities to help clients achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication management.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Monitor and document clients' progress and any changes in behavior or health status.
• Administer CPR and first aid as needed in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
• Encourage clients to engage in community activities and social interactions.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care or direct support roles is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
• Knowledge of CPR and first aid certifications is required.
• Ability to observe and report changes in clients' conditions accurately.
• Compassionate nature with a commitment to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
