Location: Providence, Rhode Island, USA
Rotation: 14/14 days (or 28/28, as planned directly with Offshore Site Managers)
Position Type: Offshore position
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate offshore activities with the Marine and Helicopter Coordination Centre (MHCC).
- Arrange meetings and liaise with project stakeholders to ensure efficient communication.
- Ensure adherence to project procedures, processes, and IT Tools.
- Support HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) when required.
- Operate the Offshore management system and provide lessons learned/change requests.
- Participate in general lessons learned from project activities.
Daily Tasks:
- Planning and coordination of construction, marine, and helicopter activities, including preparation of relevant documentation.
- Preparation and hosting of the Daily Planning Meeting.
- Liaison with packages and contractors to minimize operational conflicts.
- Liaison with MHCC regarding the execution of planned activities.
- Manage and allocate custody (Time and Space) of materials and resources.
- Daily communication with contractors and vessel masters to ensure compliance with site procedures and OMS (Offshore Management System).
- Ensure vessel masters and helicopter pilots complete their inductions.
- Assist the construction manager with various tasks as required.
- Chair or attend interface and kick-off meetings with contractors.
- Ensuring personnel are approved within the OMS system.
- Assistance in VCC checklist and issuing of VCC.
- Liaise with HSE team members on safety findings, investigations, and push safety measures.
- Provide input into lessons learned for future projects.
- Provide training for new offshore support staff and site planning teams.
- Track and control all cargo going offshore, including declarations to relevant authorities.
Deliverables:
- CTV/Helicopter Manifest for personnel tracking.
- SOMS Training Documents.
- Vessel/Helicopter performance reports.
- Daily Coordination and Execution Plan.
Required Qualifications:
- Mandatory Certifications:
- GWO courses: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling.
- BOSIET/HUET (including CA-EBS).
- OGUK Medical Certificate (including Chester Step test).
- Experience in offshore coordination and construction activities.
- Strong understanding of offshore safety protocols.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with project stakeholders.
- Proficient with offshore management systems and documentation.
- Experience working with Marine and Helicopter Coordination Centres.
Work Schedule:
- Expected travel days per month: 12
- Travel Required: Yes, with offshore rotation of 14 days on, 14 days off or 28 on/28 off.
