What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Clinical Operations position at ReNew Wound Care?

ReNew partners with SNFs, ALFs, and LTACHs to provide the most advanced treatment protocols available in the post-acute setting. Our team of highly skilled wound care specialists provide advanced treatments in skilled nursing facilities, which dramatically cut down on hospital readmissions.
What We Ask
The primary role of the Director of Clinical Services is to assist in planning organizing, developing, and directing the day-to-day clinical functions of Renew in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations as may be directed
- Assist in overseeing and managing all clinical aspect of Renew
- Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day-to-day functions of Renew.
- Make written and oral reports/recommendations to the COO as necessary / required concerning the operation of Renew.
- Assist in ensuring that all clinical personnel are following their respective job descriptions.
- Review providers notes to ensure that they are informative and descriptive of the care being provided, that they reflect the resident’s response to the care.
- Serve on the Quality Assurance and Assessment Committee as directed.
- Establish and audit clinical outcomes / wound analysis report to review trends of the affiliated facilities.
- Participate in the development and implementation of performance evaluations for the clinical staff and assist the Director in preparing performance evaluations as directed.
- Report problem areas and review concerns and issues of affiliated facility to the Director. Assist in developing and implementing corrective action.
- Participate in developing, planning, conducting, and scheduling in-service training and continuing wound care education classes and ensure a well-educated Renew staff and facility staff.
What We Need:
- Valid Licensed RN – Verifiable via Nursys (compact license a plus!)
- Master’s of Nursing
- Experience in Wound Care – certified a plus
- Ability to travel
