Nurse Practitioner | Advanced Wound Care
ReNew Wound Care partners with skilled nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term acute care hospitals to provide superior advanced wound care treatment protocols in the post-acute setting. Our ReNew team of highly skilled wound care specialists provide advanced treatments in our facilities located throughout the U.S.; and ultimately lowering hospital readmissions.
What We Ask:
- Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patient wounds, which may be chronic or acute and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement advanced wound care techniques, including debridement, dressing selection, skin grafts and infection control measures.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with other healthcare professionals at each facility to coordinate care and provide updates on patient progress to ensure continuity of care.
- Manage a travel schedule to visit multiple skilled nursing facilities on a consistent basis.
- Ensure timely and efficient care delivery.
Qualification Requirements:
- Valid State License as a Nurse Practitioner
- ANCC or AANP Board Certification
- A minimum of 1 year experience in advanced wound care is highly preferred.
- Certification in wound care (e.g., CWOCN, CWS, WCC, WOCN) is desired.
- Must have reliable transportation and be able to travel weekly to multiple locations.
