As a Window and Door Service Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive prompt, efficient, and reliable service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair services for windows and doors.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with windows and doors, including hardware, mechanisms, and sealing.
- Replace damaged or faulty components such as glass, frames, locks, handles, and hinges.
- Ensure accurate measurements and proper fitting during installations.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Provide detailed explanations of work performed and recommendations for further improvements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of service calls, including parts used and time spent on each job.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, products, and techniques through continuous learning.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in working with windows and doors.
- Strong knowledge of various window and door types, materials, and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing common issues related to windows and doors.
- Able to climb ladders/work on a ladder.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time and resources.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications are a plus.
- Successfully PASS our Background Check.
