Position Overview : We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and guidance to department managers and employees on various employment laws and agreements. You will also be responsible for training and coaching managers on handling employee relations matters effectively.
Key Responsibilities :
- Interpret and explain salary and benefits resolutions, the federal Fair Labor Standards Act, and other employment laws to managers, supervisors, and employees.
- Oversee leave of absence processes and collaborate with the PEO and managers on ADA accommodations.
- Review and approve disciplinary actions, and assist in drafting disciplinary language, proposals, and agreements.
- Coordinate the termination review process.
- Provide advice and coaching to managers and supervisors on employee relations matters, handle supervisory problems and employee complaints, and develop and conduct training sessions.
