The Warehouse Supervisor for Swing Shift plays a vital role in the leadership of our warehouse operations. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role ensures seamless coordination of daily tasks while supporting team growth and productivity. Primary duties
- Coordinate with Day Shift Manager for any needed information.
- Implement internal processes with the Swing Shift team.
- Own specific tasks as assigned and be able to follow through on your own.
- Coordinate the unloading and loading of install trucks with the team.
- Prioritize which trucks to turn first, second, third, etc.
- Cleaning out construction debris, windows, and doors.
- Unloading and loading of materials and product for upcoming install jobs.
- Using information provided to ensure accuracy of loads.
- Disposing and recycling or debris properly.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and ensure timely follow-through.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Understanding of OSHA safety regulations.
- Five plus years in a Warehouse Leadership role.
- Ability to communicate clearly in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Be comfortable with technology, website inventory tracking and other apps.
- Light carpentry skills (e.g., using chop saws, table saws, and hand tools).
- Accurate measuring and cutting of various trims and materials.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle shifting priorities.
- Excellent communicate skills and strong analytical skills.
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedures and policy.
- Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Leadership qualities with a focus on motivation and team success.
- Problem-solving skillset with a customer-service-oriented approach.
- Ability to repeatedly lift 50-70 lbs. unassisted.
- Perform physically demanding tasks associated with construction and warehouse activities.
