The Role:

As an in-office Service Technician, you will play a vital role in enhancing our customers' experiences by delivering top-notch service and support. In this unique office-based position, you'll leverage your hands-on knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve warranty issues using innovative virtual video messaging. This means you'll not only assist customers remotely but also apply your construction insights to ensure they receive the best solutions for their window and door needs.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include:

- Engaging with customers via phone and virtual video messaging to assess their window and door service needs.

- Utilizing your hands-on experience to troubleshoot technical issues, guiding homeowners through solutions with confidence.

- Guide customers to window and door openings to diagnosis and correct when possible, service problems using Renewal by Andersen’s proprietary TechSee software

- Following up on service requests to ensure satisfaction and project completion.

- Documenting customer interactions thoroughly, providing essential updates and insights to our team and clients.

- Managing schedules for service technicians, voicemails, emails, and customer reviews effectively.

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

- 2-3 years of customer service experience that demonstrate a professional demeanor and strong communication skills.

- 2-3 years of carpentry, finishing and/or remodeling, or window installation/service experience is highly preferred

- Mechanical aptitude

- Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to navigate a fast-paced environment.
