Responsibilities

- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's short- and long-term goals.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the President and leadership team to drive profitability and growth.
- Collaborate across departments to align financial and operational objectives.
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Direct the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Oversight of Paylocity P/R system and benefits.
- Lead the development of financial models and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Perform detailed cash flow analysis to optimize working capital and ensure liquidity.
- Conduct ROI analyses for new projects, initiatives, and investments.
- Year end tax oversight including forecasting and preparation of year end schedules
- Manage bank relationships and ensure company has growth financing in place.
- Ensure customer financing programs are available and a strategic advantage.
- Manage the company’s insurance policies, including liability, property, and workers’ compensation coverage.
- Oversee compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including internal policies, tax filings and audits.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks to ensure long-term stability.
- Oversee legal compliance, contracts, and risk management to protect the company.
- Partner with department leaders to drive efficiency in operations, including installation processes and inventory management.
- Evaluate vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs and service levels including benefits.
- Participate in strategic decision-making related to pricing, sales, and marketing initiatives.
- Oversee strategic projects and technology implementations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting and finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Implement training programs to build financial acumen across the organization.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- 8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a small-to-mid-sized company.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
- Proficient in financial software, ERP systems, and Excel.
- Hands-on experience with cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting.
