The Warehouse / Shop Technician uses carpentry skills for window trim installation and mulling windows together. This role also involves various warehouse-related tasks as needed. The position is 70% warehouse associate and 30% shop technician.
Primary Duties:
- Apply and install Brickmould trim to windows.
- Mull windows together by joining them using various materials.
- Fabricating arch trims from Breckenridge plywood for metal flashing.
- Perform minor window repairs.
- Drive company vehicles to pick up and deliver materials to job sites (site runs).
Additional Duties:
- Perform various warehouse-related tasks and projects.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualification, Education & Experience:
Required:
- Ability to communication clearly in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Strong measuring and cutting skills with accuracy.
- Familiarity with light construction and carpentry materials.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Two or more years of warehouse experience.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Ability to become forklift certified.
- Safety-conscious with a strong attention to detail.
- Professional attitude and demeanor.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Physical requirements & working conditions:
- Ability to lift 50-70 lbs., repeatedly without assistance.
- Perform physically demanding tasks related to construction and warehouse activities.
- Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm.
