What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alumni Manager- Substance Abuse Treatment Facility position at Renewal Health Group?
Renewal Health Group is hiring an Alumni Manager to develop, implement and monitor the Alumni Program at our Residential Treatment Facilities in the Tarzana, CA and Palm Desert, CA area.
The Alumni Manager will demonstrate the abilities to manage Alumni events and communications to foster supportive relationships with Alumni, ensuring they remain connected to the recovery community.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visit the facilities to engage with clients, run groups and promote the Alumni Program.
- Promote the Alumni Program though various channels including phone outreach, managing social media groups, and face to face interaction at events and meetings.
- Conduct alumni follow-ups (calls, texts, social media engagement)
- Host weekly in-person 12-step meetings at the facility.
- Host weekly virtual alumni meetings for non-local alumni.
- Plan and coordinate monthly alumni events.
- Collect alumni testimonials, reviews and surveys.
- Maintain documentation and monitor high-risk cases.
- Track alumni data and complete requested reports.
- Maintain working knowledge of program and clinical operations.
- Promotes the Renewal Health Group vision, mission and brand with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain a consistent and open channel of communication with all staff and ensure that discrepancies are identified and resolved.
Education and Work Experience:
- A High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in the Behavioral Health or Substance Abuse Treatment field required.
- Experience in an Alumni Manager role preferred. Valid Drivers License required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Able to maintain a professional manner and strong boundaries with clients, staff, and visitors.
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting, under pressure and maintain open, and proper communication.
- Supervisor knowledge and experience preferred.
- Able to think outside the box and develop new strategies to drive business.
- Basic knowledge of the various Addiction Treatment Modalities.
Hiring Requirements:
- Hiring is contingent upon completion of a Background Check, TB test, and clearance on a drug screen and pre-employment physical. Current First Aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain upon hire.
