Position Overview
The Full-Time Renewed Clinician plays a vital role in our organization by providing high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals and families. As a qualified mental health professional, you will guide clients through their therapeutic journeys, offering care that is ethically sound and biblically informed. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Renewed Clinician will support the organization’s initiatives and collaborate with colleagues and leadership to contribute to the broader mission of promoting mental and spiritual health.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual evaluations, to address clients’ presenting concerns, strengths, and goals.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, using The Renewed Model, to help clients achieve personal growth and healing.
- Provide individual, couples, and family psychotherapy, integrating biblical principles in alignment with clients’ preferences.
- Assist clients in healing from trauma, enhancing coping mechanisms, nurturing relationships, and discovering their purpose in life.
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment as necessary to ensure client safety and well-being.
- Maintain a weekly caseload of 34 scheduled sessions, with a goal of 28 clients seen per week, ensuring an 80 % client attendance rate.
Documentation & Compliance:
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, including confidentiality, informed consent, and relevant state regulations.
Collaboration & Teamwork:
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including primary care physicians, psychiatrists, and case managers, to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in regular supervision and consultation to enhance clinical skills and foster professional growth.
- Support the Clinical Site Lead and assist with responsibilities when needed.
Administrative Duties:
- Dedicate 6 hours per week to indirect clinical tasks such as documentation, team meetings, and special assignments from leadership.
- Engage in program development, training initiatives, and faith-based outreach to raise awareness of mental health issues and reduce stigma.
Professional Development:
- Stay informed about emerging best practices, ethical guidelines, and research in the mental health field.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education to refine clinical skills and expand knowledge.

Eligibility for Salary-Based Compensation:
- Maintain the assigned caseload and client retention goals.
- Complete all required administrative hours and deliver consistently high-quality care.
Additional Duties:
- Contribute to community outreach efforts, such as writing blogs, creating mental health content, or participating in video production to engage with the community.
- Licensed supervisors may have the opportunity to provide supervision to registered interns and receive a stipend for this responsibility.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT).
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with the ability to develop and execute treatment plans.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to establishing therapeutic rapport.
- Cultural competence, humility, and a dedication to ethical clinical practice.

Work Location:
This full-time position requires on-site work at our Lakeland clinic location. Team members are expected to adhere to a set work schedule, including client sessions and administrative hours, with a focus on fostering both personal and professional growth in a faith-centered environment.
