Renewed Integrative Counseling is a Christian-Based Mental Health practice that provides research-based and integrative therapeutic services to individuals struggling with mental health challenges. We also serve as a pillar in educating churches and people of faith in our communities about proper mental health care so that they can receive the healing and help that God desires for their lives and we could work to break the stigma surrounding mental health care. Our team of professional mental health providers implement an approach to care that fosters the spiritual, emotional, physical, and relational health of individuals to effectively support long-term mental wellness.
Our practice is looking for a compassionate professional who align with the organization's mission and is motivated to serve at our Riverview office location. This open position will be filled by either a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). The clinician would be employed to provide psychotherapy services to either children, adolescents, and/or adults in the form of individual counseling, couples therapy, or family counseling, depending on their preference, skills, and/or trained area of specialty.
- Must have a minimum of a graduate degree in counseling, social work, marriage & family therapy, or psychology from an accredited university.
- Must possess a current provider license with the Florida Department of Health in good standing with no restrictions to practice independently as a professional counselor (LMHC), social worker (LCSW), marriage and family therapist (MFT), or State Registered Intern.
- Experience in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults.
- knowledge and experience in diagnosing mental health disorders and challenges, as well as developing treatment plans.
- Experience or training in implementing a variety of therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, EMDR, ART, DBT, Biblical Therapy, Gottman Couples Training etc. (all are not required, but some training and experience in providing evidence-based mental health treatments are required).
The clinician position allows individuals to begin working full-time. Each clinician is offered flexibility in setting their own hours with the office manager. The ideal candidate must be able to work at least two evening shifts until 6 or 7pm OR have weekend availability. All credentialing with insurance and billing will be completed by the practice. The practice provides clinician with in-house training/professional development opportunities, and access to tools that aid in diagnosing, developing treatment plans, creating progress notes, and easily manage your caseload.
