Solar Construction Manager
Location: Arkansas
Travel: ~25% to project sites across Arkansas
About the Role:
A rapidly growing solar construction company is seeking a Solar Construction Manager to oversee and support full-time solar construction operations. This role requires a strong background in solar project management, EPC coordination, and construction fieldwork. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with subcontractors, managing multiple project timelines, and ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee solar construction projects from pre-construction through completion.
- Manage and coordinate with EPCs, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
- Utilize AutoCAD, Helioscope, and PVSyst for design and project evaluation.
- Ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule expectations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including subcontractors and internal leadership.
- Conduct site visits (~25% travel) to oversee progress and resolve on-site challenges.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Helioscope, and PVSyst for solar design and analysis.
- Experience managing EPCs and subcontractors in a solar construction environment.
- Hands-on field experience in solar construction, with a deep understanding of site work.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate multiple projects.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, growing company with multiple stakeholders.
- Familiarity with the Arkansas solar market and key industry players.
Work Arrangement:
