Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Serves as liaison between Renfro and third-party distribution vendor, ensuring consistent and accurate communication regarding all shipments.
- Serves as the primary source of communication for corporate management.
- Maintains accurate weekly reports which track all shipments.
- Maintains receiving function through inspection and acceptance of incoming shipments and returns.
- Ensures the distribution of relevant paperwork.
- Ensures customer requirements are consistently followed and met.
- Coordinates truck routes; supervises and supports truck drivers and equipment.
- Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
- Coordinates the truck loading function with other supervisors.
- Coordinates customer routing.
- Monitors and updates status information to ensure deliveries, as well as coordinates special shipments.
- Handles customer pick-ups, including location and loading of the materials; completes necessary paperwork.
- Coordinates and participates in periodic inventory checks/cycle counts and year-end inventory.
- Maintains a safe work environment and safe working conduct from all employees. Reports and remove all safety hazards immediately as discovered.
- Tracks attendance, conducts time sheet reviews, and approves/submits to payroll.
- Ensures coverage with respect to vacations, sick days, and other time off allowances.
- Ensures all company and customer policies and procedures are followed.
- Provides input on performance reviews and performance objectives.
- Attends meetings to discuss new ideas, share information, and to solve problems.
- Performs other tasks or assignments as assigned by leadership
- Major responsibilities will include:

- Previous supervisory experience beneficial
- Previous warehouse/distribution experience preferred
- Computer skills including mainframe and Microsoft Office
- Excel skills necessary
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Critical thinking – ability to devise plans of actions and assess those plans regularly
- Ability to effectively handle multiple orders, people and many moving pieces within the DC
