As a Field Operations Manager at Renjoy, you'll be the linchpin between our maintenance technicians, groundskeepers, and the overall guest experience. Your primary focus will be to lead and organize our maintenance team, ensuring that all properties are well-maintained and that guest requests are handled quickly and efficiently. This role is less about hands-on repairs and more about leadership, communication, and leveraging technology to streamline our maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate our team of maintenance technicians and groundskeepers.
- Run weekly in-person meetings with maintenance staff from our office.
- Use Slack, scheduling software, and other tools to assign and track maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure fast response times for maintenance issues.
- Oversee vendor relationships and scheduling for outsourced repairs and services.
- Assist in developing and managing a groundskeeping crew for property landscaping/mowing.
- Ensure all maintenance work meets high-quality standards and aligns with our guest experience goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong leadership & people management skills — able to run a team and hold technicians accountable.
- Tech-savvy — comfortable using Slack, Google Suite, and maintenance coordination software.
- Excellent problem-solving & organizational abilities — keep tasks on track and prioritize efficiently.
- Some knowledge of property maintenance & repairs (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, general handyman skills are a plus but not required).
- Experience in operations, property management, or a similar role preferred.
- Clear communicator — both with the team and external vendors.
