The Director of Programs will oversee our program management functions. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining compliance with federal regulations, and fostering strong relationships with government clients.

Description
The Director of Programs will oversee our program management functions. This role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining compliance with federal regulations, and fostering strong relationships with government clients.
Essential Functions
- Oversee engines project management including planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Together with GM, prepare and conduct core team meetings to align on progress and open topics.
- Establish engine direction and respective new processes, systems, and solutions.
- Successfully direct engine programs/ products aligned to key timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Act as the primary point of contact for senior level customers with active orders (O6 and above equivalents).
- Provide insights and recommendations to GM of LOBs to enhance overall customer experience and loyalty.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget, utilizing best practice in program management.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with federal clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and effective communication.
- Ensure all programs comply with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company policies
- Develop and manage program budgets, forecasting financial performance, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess program success and identify opportunity for improvement.
- Mentor and develop program staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Program Management or related field with 10 years relevant experience.
- Masters Degree in Business Administration, Program Management or related field with 8 years relevant experience.
- 3 years leading a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Influence and decision-making skills
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Communication skills at internal/external executive levels
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
