Description
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing programs for production runs or modifying existing programs for different machines. This position is responsible for performing quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary and performing troubleshooting.

Description
The CNC Programmer will be responsible for developing programs for production runs or modifying existing programs for different machines. This position is responsible for performing quality checks with the machine operator to ensure the program is producing parts according to specifications, making manual adjustments if necessary and performing troubleshooting.
Essential Functions:
- Operations and programming of CNC machines.
- Assists with implementing programs and tooling for new programs, existing program improvements including tooling improvement, driving down cycle time and problem-solving dimensional issues with production jobs on the floor.
- Analyze blueprints, job orders, design data, and specifications to calculate dimensions, feed rates, machine speeds, and tool selection.
- Contributes in the development of new CNC programs for production runs or modifies existing programs for different machines.
- Revise programs to fix errors and retest them to confirm that issues have been resolved.
- Follow all company safety protocols and ensure that machine procedures are done in accordance with company guidelines.
- Convert design specifications into precise instructions for machining operations and cutting tools.
- Trouble shoot issues during the manufacturing process.
Level/pay for this position with be commensurate with education and experience.
Position Requirements
- High School Diploma with Vocational certificate in CNC programming and 4 years experience.
- Associates Degree in Engineering/Machining concentrations or related field and 0-3 years experience.
- CNC programming skills.
- Mathematical proficiency skills.
- Blue print reading required.
- Fixturing and Tooling development and setup required.
- Attention to detail.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Creo and Autocad experience a plus.
