Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all occupants. Duties
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in designated areas.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain a polished appearance.
- Carry out industrial cleaning duties as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to keep the premises in good condition.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas, restocking supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Perform custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings as assigned.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure thorough cleaning of all areas.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is an advantage.
