Internship Description:
Gain valuable insights into the Corporate Partnerships department through our comprehensive internship program. As a Corporate Partnerships Intern, you will have the chance to explore various facets of sponsorship execution for live sporting events and contribute to the success of the organization.
Areas of Learning:
- Develop a strong understanding of sponsorship contract fulfillment by seeing how contracted elements are produced and executed across departments.
- Observe and participate in partner calls, emails, and external meetings to gain insight into relationship management and communication strategies.
- Train on the Sponsorship United platform to research industry trends and analyze best practices from other organizations.
- Support the development of sponsorship proposals and recap reports by assisting with content creation, structuring key insights, and refining presentations.
- Assist in balancing recurring sponsorship elements with game-specific setups, proof-of-performance documentation, and collaborating with corporate partners to ensure seamless execution before, during, and after games.
- Observe and assist in special event planning by shadowing cross-functional teams as they coordinate logistics, staffing, and on-site execution while gaining valuable insight into event flow management and patron engagement.
Final Internship Report:
Interns will create a mock sponsorship proposal, simulating a real sales meeting by analyzing a company's needs, selecting assets, and presenting their strategy, allowing them to develop critical thinking skills, understand partnership development, and stay engaged

- Develop a thorough understanding of the Corporate Partnerships department.
- Acquire practical knowledge of sponsorship execution for live sporting events.
- Enhance communication and teamwork skills through cross-department collaboration
Timeline:
- The internship starts on March 18th and concludes September 23rd following the end of the Reno Aces regular season
Hours:
- The internship consists of 4 hours per day on average, with weekly hours ranging from 8-16
- Interns are encouraged to attend two Reno Aces games per homestand, there are (13) total homestands with approximately two homestands per month
- Game assignments will be designated by the Corporate Partnerships Services Team
- Flexibility for academic schedules is available
College Credit/Compensation:
The internship may be eligible to earn college credit. The internship is unpaid and is not entitled to a paid job at the internship’s end.
