POSITION SUMMARY
DakStats Operator is responsible for maintaining and displaying accurate scoring and statistics of Reno Aces games.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Responsible for maintaining and displaying accurate scoring and statistics of games through the Daktronics scoreboard and statistics software.
- Operate scoring equipment to feed all baseball scoring information as needed and monitor the progress of the game.
- Other Duties as Assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive knowledge of baseball preferred
- Familiar with Daktronics and Gameday baseball operations equipment preferred
- Keep a professional demeanor in a live event situation and a press/broadcast area
- Ability to adapt on the fly
- Able to work and thrive in a high-stress, time-specific environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work in an indoor and outdoor setting
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel and crouch
