POSITION SUMMARY
Traffic Staff team members play a vital role in ensuring a safe, organized, and enjoyable experience for guests by managing traffic flow and pedestrian safety on gamedays.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to promote a safe and efficient flow
- Help guests enter and exit parking lots safely
- Act as a deterrent for potential incidents in and around the perimeter of the stadium
- Prevent guests from hurtful damage to themselves or other guests
- Greet and acknowledge guests in a friendly and courteous manner
- Actively inform guests of ballpark policies
- Move/transport stanchions, bike barricades, boxes and promotional materials
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma/GED required
- High energy, self-starter
- Must be able to take direction and effectively follow instructions
- Reliable means of transportation
- Attention to detail
- Completion of a satisfactory background check
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work in fast-paced environment
- Majority of work is conducted outdoors
- Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, and weekends
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to work in inclement weather
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, stoop, kneel, crouch, and climb stairs
- Ability to walk briskly or run as the position requires
