Receptionist - Swing Shift 3:30pm to 11pm

This position is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as additional clerical duties. Shift is 3:00pm - 11:30pm.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate employee. Will transfer a caller to an employee's voice mailbox when the employee is unavailable
• Greats and directs visitors and patients
• Provide assistance to the Intake Department with patient data entry and forms
• Assists with other related clerical duties as needed
  
  

The PBX/Receptionist is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, as well as additional clerical duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate employee. Will transfer a caller to an employee's voice mailbox when the employee is unavailable
• Greats and directs visitors and patients that present in the lobby area
• Take and retrieve messages for various personnel
• Provide callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, fax and phone numbers, company website and other related information
• Receives, sorts and forwards, incoming mail.
• Provide assistance to the Intake Department with patient data entry and forms
• Assists with other related clerical duties for other departments
• Upholds the Organization's ethics and customer service standards

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• One (1) year PBX and/or receptionist experience required
• All direct patient care staff will be trained in BLS (CPR), which must be renewed every 2 years
• All staff, both clinical and non-clinical, will be trained in CPI as part of their orientation. All direct patient care staff will be retrained every year
  
  
  

Skills and Abilities:

• Proficiency with software and/or equipment (Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.)
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize projects, work relatively independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with people with a variety of background and educational levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, expanding organization.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job, this position is frequently required to do the following:

• Use standard office equipment and access, input, and retrieve information from a computer. Use computer keyboard with manual and finger dexterity and wrist-finger speed sufficient to perform repetitive actions efficiently for extended periods of time.
• Communicate effectively in person or via telephone in a manner which can be understood by those with whom the person is speaking, including a diverse population.
• Give and follow verbal and written instructions with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Vision: see details of objects at close range
• Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reach forward, up, down, and to the side.
• Sit or stand for minimum periods of one hour at a time and come and go from the work area repeatedly throughout the day
