Position Schedule: Thursday, Friday, 10:00 PM to 8 AM and every other weekend 10PM - 8AM.
Job Purpose and Objectives:
Provide a safe environment for the youth to learn socially acceptable behaviors. This is done through supervision of the youth and teaching new ways of dealing with situations and people. Provide physical, medical and emotional care to the youth while they are in the facility. Responsibilities will include maintaining proper supervision, interpersonal relations, and security.

- High school diploma or G.E.D., plus three (3) semester hours of college level study in adolescent development, psychology, or a related field or forty-five (45) hours in documented training in child care or child development or One (1) year of experience as a youth care worker or house parent in a facility serving youth of the same age.
- Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position.
- Must be no less than 21 years of age and be able to meet, with or without reasonable accommodation, the physical requirements associated with the essential functions of this position.
Certifications / Licenses:
- Possess a valid Kansas driver's license.
