Job Requirements:

MUST HAVE AN OSHA 10 CARD.

MUST HAVE VALID NV DRIVERS LICENSE, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION. OUR INSURANCE REQUIRES NO VIOLATIONS OR OTHER ISSUES WITH YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE.

WE ARE NOT ON CITY BUS LINE.

THE START LOCATION DAILY IS OUR FACILITY OFF MUSTANG EXIT 23 OUTSIDE SPARKS.

NON SEASONAL FULL TIME - YEAR ROUND POSITION

MUST BE RELIABLE, PUNCTUAL, WILLING TO ACTUALLY WORK AND STRONG ENOUGH TO LIFT 50-100 POUNDS OCCASIONALLY (NOT CONSTANTLY). THIS POSITION REQUIRES BEING ASKED TO DO MOST ANY TASK AT OUR BUSINESS AND A WILLINGNESS TO ROLL UP YOUR SLEEVES AND DO IT WITHOUT COMPLAINING. DOING ALL TASKS SAFELY IS TOP PRIORITY.

We need a self starter with initiative and conscientious about job performance preferred. Ideally we want a utility employee to learn numerous tasks and be a valued team member able to shift gears during a daily period as needed.

Employee must learn and adhere to paperwork procedures and complete daily logs as instructed, complete DVIR's when driving company vehicles and legible handwriting a must for this position.

You will be trained in all aspects of work performed. Common sense is required. Mechanical aptitude or experience with vehicle maintenance is a plus.

Any off site transportation required once clocked in is provided for off site projects.

You will be working indoor and outdoors, year round at various job sites and at our facility in Sparks. Our off site projects take the employee to different local job locations on a daily basis, familiarity with the local area preferred.

Assist our personnel in any aspect of the company operation when asked.

Help keep the facility grounds clean, learn our facility operation and assist in any way asked.

Operate non-CDL pump truck and liftgate trucks to collect used oil, antifreeze, wastewater and used oil filter drums for recycling.

Operate oil filter crusher and also drive to collect oil filters from route customers in northern Nevada.

Assist full time mechanic in vehicle maintenance tasks, help keep the shop clean.

Assist in underground tank removal projects, set up job fences, load/unload tools, spotter for excavator operator, assist in site restoration, shoveling of soil, sweeping, lifting 50-100 lbs occasionally, clean up of each job site, assist and act as spotter to load/unload tanks from flatbed truck, learn how to clean and cut tanks for recyclable metal.

Room for advancement based on performance, willingness to learn, responsible behavior and reliability. Position is very fluid and is not a monotonous job, employee usually does something different on a daily basis.

FLEXIBILITY IS A MUST! Our business is very fluid and tasks change quickly as needed and you will experience being pulled form one task to another almost daily. Patience is required.

Weekends Off

Set Hours with no required overtime, though there may be opportunities for overtime.
