Position: Licensed Physical Therapist
Location: Reno, NV
Type: Full Time or Part Time
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform initial patient examination and continuing functional evaluations.
- Evaluate patients' physical condition and needs, developing a tailored rehabilitation program based on their unique challenges.
- Supervise and lead PTAs
- Ensure excellent and compliant department documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurse practitioners, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other specialists, to ensure integrated care.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate on patient case management.
- Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, stretches, manual therapy, and therapeutic modalities.
- Educate patients on exercises they can do at home for faster recovery and long-term health benefits.
- A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Active Nevada Physical Therapy license.
- 1 year experience as a Physical Therapist, preferably in a multidisciplinary or clinical setting is preferred
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends or evenings if required.
