Reno Staffing is looking for EXPERIENCED Battery Refurb Technicians with Electrical manufacturing experience and electrical safety training for a Solar Technology Manufacturing Company in the Spanish Springs area!

Shift : Monday to Friday, 6am to 2 : 30pm, OT available!
Pay : $19 DOE
Location : Spanish Springs 89441(not on a bus route)
Summary :
The Battery Tech is responsible for sorting, testing, fault isolation, repairing multiple types of equipment including, but not limited digital boards, Analog boards and electro / Mechanical elements.
Responsibilities :
- Inspects and tests products at various stages of the production process
- Operate and maintain battery lab equipment including but not limited to Automatic test equipment, DMM, oscilloscopes, hand, and power tools, soldering equipment, etc.
- Capable of authoring technical documents including SOPs, rework instructions, process changes, etc.
- Perform and document battery mechanical, electrical, and safety system testing with in-house equipment
- Support failure mode analysis efforts
- Support troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of battery test equipment
- Perform battery system teardown and remanufacturing procedures as documented or requested
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, reliability, and manufacturing engineers to suggest design and / or process improvements and address reliability issues
- Ensure the quality of products produced by performing testing of refurbished products while maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
