Description
This position reports directly the to Facilities Manager. The Facilities Assistant will balance technical maintenance with good people skills. This role is responsible for creating a suitable working environment, ensuring facilities are always clean and working properly; communication with vendors for repair, maintenance bids and follow up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Vendors for cleaning and maintenance of all Renova facilities, internal and external
- Gather proposals form vendors for various needs
- Coordinate emergency repairs for Renova facilities
- Scheduling inspections as needed
- Ordering supplies needed for offices needs
- Documentation of repairs and safety inspections
- Creating an analyzed plan for safety inspections to include but not limited to fire extinguishers, fire risers, alarm system, elevator maintenance and inspections, etc…
- Documenting monthly inspections for all facilities
- Assist in set up and supplies for company events held at Renova
- Clean and maintain a proper working environment when a vendor is not available
