Renovation Church is actively seeking to fill the position for a full-time Lead Pastor.

The campus is located in (North) Buffalo, NY. We are on a mission to impact our communities by ensuring that every man, woman, and child have repeated opportunities to see, hear, and respond to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Renovation Church has been serving the City of Buffalo through ministry since 2012 under the leadership of the founding Lead Pastor who is retiring from the position.

• Provide counseling to those seeking spiritual guidance for their life. Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Leadership experience with the ability to plan, oversee the management of the facilities, finances, and other logistics of the church as well as lead the elder board, and engage staff.

• Respect and embrace the diversity of the congregation and community, ensuring a representation of the voices in the membership in decision making.

• Ensuring the inclusion of equity, justice, mercy, restoration, and healing as foundational gospel activities.
• Ministering to the needs of new and seasoned believers challenging deeper levels of relationship and commitment. Standing against injustices and applying the word of God as the foundational principle.
• Commitment to your own professional and personal development.

Desired Qualifications

• I Timothy 3:1-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
• A disciple of Jesus Christ and following his commands to love others and draw others to him.
• Urban Ministry experience preferred but not required.

• A current resident of Buffalo or willingness to relocate.
• Baccalaureate degree from an Accredited Institution
• Theological training or a commitment to pursue such training.
• Leadership experience in multiple organizations and ministries.

Proposed Compensation

• $45,000 to $60,000 Full Time Salary range annually.
• Up to $15,000 Housing allowance provided in compliance with §107 of the Internal Revenue Code.
• Benefits to be negotiated.
• Annual mileage allotment provided.

• Cell phone allowances will be provided.

Select candidates will be invited for an interview with the Search Council. If desired the candidate will be invited to deliver a guest message on a Sunday followed by a forum with membership and an interview with the Elder Board.
Seeking wisdom and spiritual discernment, the board will decide whether to recommend the candidate to the membership to call them as Lead Pastor of Renovation.
