Job Summary
As a Buyer at Renovation Systems, you will play a crucial role in our procurement process by sourcing and purchasing materials, equipment, and services needed for our renovation projects. In this role, you will work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement of quality goods and services at competitive prices. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts, and maintaining inventory levels to support project needs and timelines.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery capabilities
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company
- Coordinate the purchasing and delivery of materials, equipment, and services according to project schedules and requirements
- Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual agreements, and address any issues or concerns as needed
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information in procurement systems or databases
- Forecast material and equipment needs for upcoming projects and collaborate with project teams to ensure timely procurement
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including project managers, estimators, and warehouse staff, to coordinate purchasing activities and ensure alignment with project goals
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or related field preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in the construction or renovation industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, laws, and best practices
- Previous experience managing inventory and supplier relationships

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
