What You’ll Do:
🔹 Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging to assist in life-changing procedures.
🔹 Work closely with Interventional Cardiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and Radiologists as a first assist during procedures.
🔹 Prepare and maintain sterile environments, set up trays, and assist in procedures such as drain placements, suturing, and line manipulations.
🔹 Ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being throughout procedures.
🔹 Stay at the forefront of interventional radiology, adapting to new technologies and techniques.
Call is required for nights, weekends, and holidays. Total amount of call shifts varies on unit needs. We make every effort to divide fairly and consistently for our staff.
What We’re Looking For:
✅ Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or RCIS, or completion of an AMA-approved hospital-based program.
✅ Licenses & Certifications: ARRT (R) certification or RCIS, along with a Nevada Radiation Control Program License. BLS certification is required at hire; ACLS certification is required within six months.
✅ Experience: No prior experience needed—though candidates with CV, CI, or VI certifications or hospital computer system experience will be given preference.
✅ Tech Skills: Basic computer proficiency is required (or must be obtained within 90 days).
