Position Purpose: |

This incumbent establishes and maintains a multi-million dollar department inventory, maintains the inventory database, manages par levels, provides daily physical counts and usage reconciliation. |
|
Nature and Scope: |
|
This incumbent is responsible for: establishing, ordering and maintaining appropriate inventory of supplies and products, keeping necessary records and purchase orders, monitoring supply costs, acting as a liaison with vendors, Renown purchasing department, and other Renown departments; operation of the Renown based inventory program, and all aspects of the fiscal inventory process.
This position is also responsible for pulling transfers of stock supplies from Central Supply, Bulk Supply, and the operating room (OR) satellite inventories. Incumbent must have a thorough working knowledge of all supplies and products used the ability to communicate in a professional manner with all contacts and customers. This position does not provide patient care. |

Minimum Qualifications: Requirements - Required and/or Preferred |

Education: |
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking English. Medical terminology preferred. |
Experience: |
Six months of hospital experience. |

Required valid State of Nevada or California driver's license and ability to pass Renown Health's Department of Motor Vehicle Report criteria for dept 770701 only |

Computer / Typing: |
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc. Microsoft Office and Aperek Materials Management System experience preferred. |
