What are the responsibilities and job description for the Echo Technologist position at Renown Regional Medical Center?
Certification and Qualifications
We require applicants to hold active registry certifications from either Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCDI) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Specifically, we need registrants in cardiac and vascular ultrasound, or general and vascular ultrasound. A minimum of one year's clinical experience in the respective department is also required.
The successful candidate will be able to perform a range of ultrasonic examinations and modalities, including those introduced to the department product line.
Work Schedule and Availability
Our team works 40 hours per week with rotating shifts, typically between 7:00AM and 5:30PM. However, schedule can vary based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and occasional call shifts.
We also require flexibility to accommodate changes in census levels, which may result in reduced shifts or additional time off.
Job Requirements and Expectations
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Acquire new skills and modalities as they are added to our product line.
- Floating to meet organizational needs within your competency level.
- Picking up an additional shift during your scheduled period.
