Job Details
Role : MRI Tech (Inpatient)
Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36
Call Requirements : To be discussed during interview
Experience Required : 2 years of MRI experience (1 year of Cardiac and Breast MRI)
Position Purpose : This position produces diagnostic MRI scans, assists the radiologist and referring physicians in MRI procedures, and ensures patient care while representing the Purpose of Renown Health
Nature and Scope : The major challenges to this position include being able to understand and apply the technical skills and advanced physics required to operate the MRI scanner in an efficient and accurate manner.
Job Requirements
Licenses : AART
Certification in MRI will be given preference, R.T., R.M.R.I.T.
Required Certifications : BLS (AHA)
Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level.
Schedule Information
Schedule varies based upon department needs.
Schedule can include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.
Unit Specific Information
The position is further challenged to maintain accuracy; communicate effectively with different types of people; to function efficiently and pleasantly under pressure; to identify and maintain priorities and to respond to simultaneous requests and demands from many people while remaining courteous and professional.
