As a Customer Service Associate, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, helping them with inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring their overall satisfaction. You will play a key role in maintaining high customer retention and positive brand perception by providing timely, accurate, and empathetic customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining communication with customers, providing swift responses to sales inquiries and customer service concerns, and assisting with closing sales deals by providing thorough and accurate information to customers. You will learn tried and tested sales and customer service techniques from our experienced customer service team to help you be successful in this role.
Responsibilities of a Customer Service Associate:
- Provide excellent service by assisting customers with inquiries about products, services, order statuses, and more whether in person or through phone or email correspondence
- Identify customer issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide effective customer service solutions in a timely and professional manner
- Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of all company products, services, and policies to provide the most accurate information and recommendations to customers
- Address customer complaints in a calm, empathetic manner, seeking to resolve issues while maintaining a positive customer experience
- Actively listen to customers to gather valuable insights that can be used to improve customer service, sales transactions, products, services, and processes
Qualifications of a Customer Service Associate:
- An associate’s degree or equivalent, preferred
- Previous experience in customer service is a plus
- Strong communication skills, the ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers with diverse backgrounds
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods of time
- Comfortable using various CRM systems is a plus
