ABOUT THE COMPAN Y
This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified Senior Accountant professional in the Tustin region. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for the preparation and oversight of the payroll reporting WIP managing and performing the daytoday accounting functions of AP / AR improving processes financial reporting and solving complex issues as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Manage an accurate and deadline driven monthly quarterly and annual close process financial reporting processing biweekly payroll.
- Oversee all general ledger accounting activity as well as lead the revenue recognition process in accordance with the percentage of completion method including the WIP reconciliation
- Assist with preparation of the audit schedules and yearend audit work papers in partnership with external CPA firm
- Provide audit support for various insurance project owner or partners state and local agencies as needed
- Perform daily AP / AR tasks including interaction and communication with vendors and code / input invoices into the accounting system
- Produce accurate cash flow reporting on a monthly basis
- Ad hoc reporting and special projects as requested by upper management
- Budget maintenance and variance reporting
