Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and business-savvy Sr Merchandiser - Wellness & Fitness to drive the expansion of our product offerings in wellness categories. This role involves identifying and sourcing new merchandise, building relationships with manufacturers, and exploring new business opportunities aligned with our brands vision.
Key Responsibilities
Product Sourcing and Development:
Research and identify potential manufacturers and suppliers for vitamins, supplements, and other wellness products. Evaluate product quality, compliance, and pricing.
Market and Trend Analysis:
Stay update on industry trends, consumer demands, and competitive analysis to propose new product ideas that align with Renpho's wellness and fitness mission.
Supplier and Vendor Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, negotiate pricing and contacts, and ensure quality standards are met.
Business Development:
Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations within the wellness industry to expand Renpho's product portfolio.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, operations, and e commerce teams to ensure successful product launches and category expansions.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all sourced products comply with FDA, GMP, and other relevant regulatory guidelines for safety and efficacy.
Sales and Performance Monitoring:
Track the performance of new products, analyze sales data, and recommend improvements or changes to enhance profitability.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain, or a related field.
5 years of experience in merchandising, product sourcing, or business development within the wellness, fitness, or consumer goods industry.
Strong understanding of the vitamins and supplements market, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and drive results.
Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and reporting.
Experience working with overseas manufacturers and supply chain logistics is a plus.
