We are Rensch Engineering, an electrical and mechanical engineering firm located in beautiful and historic downtown Snohomish, WA. We design mechanical and plumbing systems in multifamily, mixed-use, commercial, and industrial buildings. Our office includes people who enjoy a good barbeque, outdoor recreational activities, and being close to their family’s everyday needs. This Mechanical Engineering position will allow you to work on many types of projects while working alongside and being supported by other engineers. Requirements of the Position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with EIT certification.
- A minimum of 4 years of HVAC and Plumbing systems design experience.
- Has experience with AutoCAD, Revit, Office 365, Windows, Trace 700, Sketchup, and other applicable mechanical engineering software.
- Understands different HVAC system concepts and can run heat load calculations.
- Understands how to design plumbing systems and can size piping systems.
- Washington State energy code knowledge.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural plans.
- Previous experience on site, with the ability to survey and document existing building mechanical and plumbing systems.
- Excellent organizational and communications skills.

Salary contingent on qualifications
