What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Financial Officer - outsourced position at Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce?
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is responsible for a roster of clients with flexible scheduling. Working remotely and on-site consultation / reporting at client locations.

Our experienced team of consultant CFOs are responsible for managing client finances, including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting. Our CFOs are also responsible for analysis of data.
30-$35 / hour for part-time
62,000-$72,000 fulltime
Duties :
- Preparation and management of Financial Statements
- Strategic Planning & Budgeting
- Ensuring segregation of costs
- Act as liaison and manage reporting and relationships with a company’s bank, insurance & external auditors
- Partner Resource : navigate the process with and for our clients to make sure they are covered in all areas of their business.
- On-site work at client locations as needed
- Bookkeeping according to client Statement of Work
- Accounting according to client Statement of Work
- Other duties as assigned
Experience / skills needed :
1-3 years’ experience as a CFO or controller required
