Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Load and unload products using moving dollies and ramp as necessary, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Navigate assigned routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while managing time efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability of delivery vehicles.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience is preferred.
- Experience operating box trucks.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or route driving is advantageous.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading products.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to driving and handling goods in a warehouse environment.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
