The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is the first point of contact for our clients and plays a crucial role in our company’s success. This position is a full-time, year-round job in our Eagle River office! Scheduled shifts are 8 hours between office hours, 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday – Friday, with occasional schedule deviations and seasonal adjustments. Reliability and punctuality are a must!
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients with their portable sanitation needs over the phone, via email, or in person; educating clients and making recommendations for products and services based on client needs and industry guidelines
- Managing high call volume
- Accurately collecting and recording detailed information from clients and entering them into company software to create sales orders and work orders
- Creating invoices and processing payments
- Building relationships with clients through open and active communication
- Handling client complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives, and following up to ensure resolution
- Providing top-notch customer service and going the extra mile
- Working and collaborating with a variety of teammates including other office staff, shop personnel, dispatchers, and service technicians
- Performing other duties as assigned
Skills
- Customer service experience with excellent active listening and verbal communication skills; and the ability to adapt the way communication is presented to different types of personalities
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn new software programs
- Must be flexible and willing to adapt to changing situations, for example, seasonal adjustments with fluctuating call volume levels
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
