Position Summary :
The Collections Coordinator Specialist is responsible for the accurate management of tenant accounts, including posting late fees, processing payment arrangements, handling communication with owners and tenants, and managing eviction procedures. This role ensures that property management collections processes are executed efficiently and in compliance with legal and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities :
Post late fees to tenant accounts promptly and accurately.
Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and property owners regarding payment status and account inquiries.
Prepare and file eviction paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
Generate reports on delinquent accounts and collection activities.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Business or a related field preferred.
Strong understanding of property management practices and eviction laws.
Ability to appear in court for eviction hearings as needed.
Working Conditions :
This position involves office-based work and occasional travel to court hearings or property sites. Some flexibility in hours may be required based on court schedules or tenant needs.
Salary : $20
