Job Description: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Tree Worker to join our team. As a Tree Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in various aspects of tree care, including pruning, trimming, removal, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the outdoors, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be organized, efficient, and have practical problem-solving skills. You will be interacting with our customers daily and having patient and respectful behavior is a must as you are representing our Tree Service Company.
Responsibilities: (This list may not include all the duties assigned)
- Perform tree pruning, trimming, and removal tasks according to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Operate and maintain equipment safely and efficiently, including chainsaws, woodchippers, and aerial lifts.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of yourself and your team members.
- Communicate effectively with clients and coworkers to ensure job requirements are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper disposal of debris and waste materials.
- Continuously strive to expand your knowledge and skills through training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in tree care or related field preferred.
- Strong knowledge of tree species, growth habits, and pruning techniques.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- ISA (International Society of Arboriculture) certification is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
- Knowledge of various climbing techniques is preferred.
